The Sugar Grove Area Sewage Authority Board members met for reorganization on Monday, January 25, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. with members Randy Brown, Carl Black, George Sanders, and Randy Tack present.  Dave Slater was not present.  Randy Tack made a motion to appoint Carl Black as temporary Chairman, seconded by George Sanders with all voting yes to the motion.   Carl Black made a motion to appoint Randy Tack as temporary Secretary, seconded by George Sanders, with all voting yes to the motion.  George Sanders made a motion to appoint Randy Brown as Chairman of the Board, seconded by Carl Black, with all voting yes to the motion.  Carl Black made a motion to appoint Randy Tack as Vice Chairman, seconded by George Sanders, with all voting yes to the motion.

 

The following appointments or determinations were made in the form of a motion or appointment by either Brown, Black, Sanders, or Tack with all voting yes to the individual motions or in agreement on appointments, or determinations.  All actions were passed unanimously.

 

            1.             Secretary will be Carl Black.

            2.            Treasurer will be George Sanders.

            3.            Stapleford & Byham will be the Authority’s attorney for all business

            4.            The Engineering Firm will be Northwest Engineering.

            5.            Authority Banking Institutions will be PNC bank and any other banking institution as deemed necessary.

            6.                 The CPA for auditing the authority books for 2010 will be Maloney, Reed, Scarpitti & Co.

            7.     Contracted services for the administrative assistant will remain with Sugar Grove Township at $19.60 per hour and may be changed by review throughout the year.

            8.      Contraced services for the waste water treatment plant operator will remain with Sugar Grove Township at $29.33 per hour and may be changed by review throughout the year.

            9.     Sugar Grove Township will provide equipment and employee for PA One calls, or as needed, at $70.00 per hour.

            10.            The Treasurer’s bond will have a limit of $750,000 for the year 2010.

            11.           In the event that this is no monthly meeting, all utility bills and regular monthly bills are to be paid.

            12.            Meetings will be held on a quarterly basis for 2010.  The dates for meetings will be as follows:  April 26, 2010, July 26, 2010, and October 25, 2010.  All meetings will be at 8:00 p.m. at the Sugar Grove Township Building, Sugar Grove.

 

Randy Brown made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Carl Black. The motion carried and the meeting was adjourned at 8:06 p.m.
